AI Without the Jargon ("we", "us") runs aiwithoutjargon.com.au and The 2-Minute Quote — instant-quoting tools that businesses put on their own websites and quote pages. This page explains, in plain English, what information passes through the service and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Business account details — when a business signs up: business name, contact name, email, mobile, logo, brand colour, service area and the pricing rates they set.
- Quote and lead details — when a customer uses a quote page: the property address they type, the answers they give about the job, and the contact details they choose to leave (name, mobile, email). This information exists to deliver the quote and pass the lead to the business they asked to hear from.
- Property imagery and measurements — we look up publicly available aerial imagery, street imagery and building-outline data for the address being quoted, to measure the job.
- Sign-in data — business sign-in uses a one-time email code, or Sign in with Google (which shares your name and email address with us and nothing else). A cookie keeps you signed in. We never see or store passwords.
- Payments — subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; they never touch our servers.
How we use it
- To produce quotes and deliver leads to the business whose page was used — by email, and into that business's job software if they've connected one.
- To run, support and improve the service (including quote logs that help businesses reconcile their pricing).
- To bill subscriptions through Stripe.
We don't sell personal information, run ad tracking, or share data with anyone beyond the services that make the product work (Stripe for billing, Google for imagery and sign-in, and email delivery).
Where a customer's lead goes
If you request a quote on a business's quote page, your details go to that business so they can contact you about the job — that's the entire point of the form. We hold a copy so the quote link keeps working and the business's dashboard shows their own history.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep account and quote records while an account is active or while they're needed to support past quotes. Want something corrected or deleted — as a business or as a customer who used a quote page? Email us and we'll sort it.
